Easter is in Janeiro

The meandering landscapes of the Zêzere River that embellish the  Schist Walking Trail of Janeiro de Baixo  will once again be the setting for another edition of the Easter initiative taking place in Janeiro de Baixo.

Organised by the Parish Council, the event will take place on 19 April and will provide an opportunity to get to know the surroundings of the Aldeia do Xisto of Janeiro de Baixo and provide an opportunity for its participants to gather together. 

PROGRAMME

• 8.30am: Performance by the Bombos Dornelas do Zêzere
• 9am: Meeting at the Picnic Area (near the River Beach)
• 9.30am: Entertainment with António Vaz
• 10am: Start of the walk
• 12:30pm: Lunch gathering
• 3pm: Performance of the Casa do Concelho de Pampilhosa da Serra Folk Dance Group
• 4pm: Filhó Espichada Tasting
• 4pm: Entertainment with António Vaz

Participating in the walk is free of charge. Lunch costs €10. Registration is mandatory and must be carried out by April 6, using the following contacts:
