The Marmeleiro River Beach, located in the municipality of Sertã, was created from the restoration of a dam used for irrigation. Surrounded by alder trees, poplars, and fig trees, whose silhouettes are reflected in the waters, this space makes excellent use of the Isna river's course, near the village of Marmeleiro.
In the surrounding area, there is a large sandy beach with cement tables and benches. The location offers a river area for both children and adults, but there are also plenty of spots along the river where one can swim, both to the west and east of the stream.
This river beach, easily accessible and less frequented, is also perfect for fishing enthusiasts or those interested in visiting the many watermills located along the river's course. Although it lacks many support facilities, the Marmeleiro River Beach stands out for its extraordinary natural surroundings and is ideal for those seeking a quieter beach experience.
