Isolation, calm and contact with nature are the charms of the Troviscal River Beach, located at Troviscal bridge, in the middle of the Sertã river, a long way from any centre of population.
The beach area has a nice bar, toilets with easy access for people with disabilities and boats for hire. In addition to the bar, the beach has a picnic area, with several tables, benches and a barbecue.
The space was developed with children in mind, by creating a shallow river area and building a small playground. Next to the beach, there is a motor home parking area and camping areas.

Leave Sertã heading towards Oleiros via EN238. Turn left towards Troviscal/Carvalhal/Cruz do Fundão. At the roundabout, turn left towards Vale. In the village, follow the signs to the river beach, approximately 1.5 km ahead.
