The peace and quiet of the pine-covered slopes and the rural hamlets of Segade de Cá and Segade de Lá, in the parish of Semide, serve as the backdrop for this River Beach on the River Ceira.
Sheltered by willows, olive groves and vegetable gardens, this beach area offers an opportunity to feel the vibrancy of life in the countryside and to discover one of the refuges of the inhabitants of the district of Miranda do Corvo on hot summer days.
Crossing through Segade de Cá, on arrival at the beach, there is a bar area, changing rooms and picnic areas, all built in wood, in harmony with the rustic environment. There is also a very nice playground that will delight the little ones.
The spot also offers a sandy sunbathing area protected by a fence, with steps down to the cool waters of the Ceira River. After enjoying the sun and water, at the end of the day there is nothing better than a satisfying meal, such as Chanfana (Goat stewed in red wine) in one of Miranda do Corvo's several restaurants and a visit to Quinta da Paiva.
