The Schist Traditions Ecomuseum is an open and active structure on the traditions and culture of the mountain, together with nature conservation, centred on the Schist Villages of Góis (Aigra Nova, Aigra Velha, Comareira and Pena) and the Natura 2000 Network of Serra da Lousã. Nuclei:

This real living museum takes us on an incredible journey through the human and environmental part of Serra da Lousã and the experiences and traditions of these villages. At Maternidade das Árvores you can sponsor a plant and thus compensate your environmental footprint as a tourist and help in the reforestation of Serra da Lousã with native species.

These nuclei are regularly animated with thematic programs, of which the celebration of the Traditional Entrudo stands out, as well as programs of animation of the Schist Villages Network and environmental education programs. In terms of nature conservation, this territory is also very rich in geology, icnofossils, fauna and flora.
