The Rocas River Beach is a leisure, entertainment and recreation complex located on a lake almost 1 km wide, right in the heart of Castanheira de Pera. An island in the centre of the river beach, a wave pool (the largest in the country), an artificial lake and a centuries-old bridge provide an environment in which dreams and reality are combined to perfection.
The expanses of clear water of the Pera River wash against the beach, forming an enchanting spot where tropical palm trees coexist in harmony with the Serra da Lousã mountains looming above. You can also enjoy a trip in a rowing boat or a pedalo and spend the night in one of the sailing boats moored in the marina, letting yourself be rocked by the gentle rolling of the river current, or in one of the bungalows standing on the bank of the lake, with a wonderful view over the huge mirror of water.

From the North via A1: Exit at Condeixa-a-Nova, take the IC3 towards Tomar. Upon reaching the IC8, continue towards Castelo Branco, exiting at the junction for Castanheira de Pera. After 10 km, you will reach your destination.
From the South via A1: Exit at Pombal, enter the IC8 towards Castelo Branco until the Castanheira de Pera junction. After 10 km, you will reach your destination.
