The river Alge, which passes on its way to the Zêzere, is so clear that the small stones can be seen in its waters.

The abundant laurels and cork oaks infuse the air with a comforting fragrance and the green of the surrounding hills, which convey us to the Lousã mountains and envelope us in gorgeous scenery.

There is a viewpoint from which the landscapes of the area can be fully enjoyed.

The river beach is between two imposing crags, which offer several bolted climbing routes, abseiling or slide. The "smaller" rocks are used for sunbathing or as diving boards.

To the south, next to the beach, there are several irrigation channels where the ground is covered in the native flora of the region.
