Orvalho Walkways

The Orvalho Walkways are located inside the Naturtejo Geopark, in the municipality of Oleiros. The walkways are part of the Orvalho Geo Route, overlooking some of the most beautiful landscapes in Beira Baixa. They provide access to a series of UNESCO classified geomonuments, such as the Fraga de Água d'Alta waterfall and Cabeço do Mosqueiro.

The Orvalho Geo Route spans about 9 km, but the walkways were only built at key points along the route, to allow passage through more demanding areas and thus allow a wider number of people access to idyllic natural locations.
