Located 2 km from Várzea dos Cavaleiros, the Boiçô leisure area is a tranquil spot that uses the pure waters of the Tamolha stream to provide cooler days through a dam and refurbished schist walls.
The space was inaugurated in 2022 and features sandy areas with sunshades, lawns, restrooms, a picnic area, and barbecues. The bar with a terrace serves snacks and regional products, and summer entertainment is common.
In the parish, the rural character stands out, and it is a must to visit the Main Church of Várzea dos Cavaleiros, the chapels of S. Tiago and N. Sr.ª dos Aflitos, and the olive oil mills.
