Barragem de Santa Luzia

Built between two huge outcrops, it is one of the most stunning landscape areas of the district of Pampilhosa da Serra and the entire region of the Aldeias do Xisto. It is a pleasant spot for canoeing, hiking, climbing, fishing, nautical activities, or for just relaxing and bathing in the floating pool. It is a mountain dam which is fed by water from the Vidual and Unhais streams and from the Rio Ceira reservoir, through a tunnel.

Visitors who like physical activity can enjoy the bike path, the maintenance circuit, several walking routes, the multi-sports field and even a skateboard half pipe. There is also a Mountain Bike Centre where you can explore more than 122 km of marked trails, at four difficulty levels.
