Alvoco das Várzeas Beach, with its crystal clear water and Blue Flag, is surrounded by a picnic park with leafy trees, ensuring a green environment full of freshness. It is located in a valley on the bank of the Alvoco river (which rises in the Serra da Estrela, near to Alvoco da Serra), next to the beautiful medieval bridge (16th Century), with a magnificent view of the Serra da Estrela mountains.

The river area offers wide green spaces and leisure areas, a picnic area with a bar serving small meals and delicious snacks under the abundant shade offered by the large willows.
