Located in the village of Alvito da Beira, on the right bank of the river Alvito, in a green valley where traditional architecture is still prized, this beach offers everything needed for a swim or to relax and rest.

From Proença-a-Nova, take the EN241 until the junction for Sobreira Formosa on the EN233. About 18 km after Proença-a-Nova, turn left onto the EM544 toward Alvito da Beira.
Public Transportation
During the bathing season (June 23 to September 9), free transportation is available from the Urban Park. Departures are at 9:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m., with returns from the beaches at 3:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
