The Aldeia Ruiva River Beach, next to the village of the same name, is notable for the quality of the facilities that it offers. Also known for the natural beauty of the Isna river, the dam is structured in several levels at different heights, ensuring greater safety for children and adults.
In the surrounding area, users can choose between two large zones (grass or sand) with several areas for relaxation. An amphibious wheelchair is available and there is a wide access ramp to the water, making this an ideal beach for people with motor difficulties.

Take the IC8 and exit at the Isna de S. Carlos exit, then follow the signs for Aldeia Ruiva. From Proença-a-Nova, take the EN 241.
Public Transportation
During the bathing season (June 23 to September 9), there is free transportation from the Urban Park. Departure times are 9:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m., with return trips from the beaches at 3:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
