Currently heading up the kitchen at O Buke Restaurant, at the Villa Pampilhosa Hotel in Pampilhosa da Serra, Chef Flávio Silva has been shortlisted for the Chef of the Year (CCA) 2019.
The Chef, who in recent years has dedicated his work to elevating the gastronomy of the Aldeias do Xisto and the Central region of Portugal, will compete with 17 professional colleagues in the regional phases of this veteran competition for chefs in Portugal, which this year celebrates its 30th edition. The competition is organised by Inter Magazine and aims to showcase excellence in the profession of Chef, contributing to the international recognition of Portuguese cuisine.
Only professional chefs who are working in Portugal and are over 25 years of age or have more than 5 years of proven professional experience may participate in this competition.
