The Mano a Mano concert, scheduled for September 1st in Gondramaz, closes the XJazz - Jazz Encounters in the Aldeias do Xisto cycle, promoted by ADXTUR - Schist Villages Tourism Development Agency and JACC - Jazz at the Centre Club
Mano a Mano is the duo formed by the brothers André Santos (guitar and braguinha)and Bruno Santos (guitar and rajão),two guitarists with a vast musical repertoire, mainly in Jazz, where they are considered two of the most important musicians at national level.
"To attend a Mano a Mano concert is to embark on a journey of rare sensitivity and empathy on stage, where the language is not only virtuously musical, but also physical and emotional. It is having the privilege of sharing the story of two brothers who generously let us into their intimacy through the sometimes biting, sometimes mesmerizing 'voices' of their guitars", says the artist Rita Redshoes, about the work of Mano a Mano.
