Promising and daring, Slow is Possible serve as a perfect example of ambition and sagacity within the new Portuguese music. They are not an orthodox (nor even avant-garde) jazz septet, but have a sonority that incorporates, in a gesture pointing to post-modernity, a multiplicity of various genres.
Ambiences populated by shadows, a dense heavy darkness followed by ferocious and energetic outbursts, with Mingus at the head summarise the ghostly presences at the dynamic heart of their themes.
