Rural Walk and Ruralities of the Past

The village of Amioso will host the walking tour "Rural and Ruralities of the Past" on March 30th, guided by agronomist João Gama, along the PR6 – Route of Aromas and Flavors. This initiative is part of the "Two Steps from Paradise" Hiking Festival. 

Organized by the Amioso Cultural and Sports Association (Acramioso) and the Vilar da Carga Cultural Center, the walk will begin at 9:00 AM. The meeting point is at the Acramioso headquarters. With an approximate distance of 9.5 kilometers and a moderate difficulty level, the walk is expected to last four hours, including a food stop at the Eira by the Ribeira do Amioso. Lunch will be served at the Acramioso headquarters.

Participation is limited to 150 registrations. The fee is 10€ per person. Participation is free for children up to 5 years old, and costs 5€ for children between 6 and 10 years old. The fee includes food, lunch, and personal accident insurance.
