The National Downhill Championship is coming to Pampilhosa da Serra on the weekend of 16 and 17 June, with the race for the national champions' trophy.
Practice will take place between 9am and 6pm on Saturday and the competition will be held on Sunday between 11am and 4pm.
This is another event by Cyclin’ Portugal, which aims to promote the Aldeias do Xisto territory as a prime location to practice all types of cycling, both competitive and leisure.
The project is the result of a protocol between the Aldeias do Xisto, the Turismo Centro de Portugal and the Portuguese Cycling Federation, and is supported by the Secretary of State for Tourism.
This National Downhill Championship is organised by the Portuguese Cycling Federation and the Pampilhosa da Serra Town Council, with the support of the Pampilhosa da Serra Volunteer Fire Brigade.
