This year, the 21st edition of the “Mostra de Artes e Sabores da Maúnça” is taking place in a symbolic manner. On 6 and 7 November, filhós, maranhos, miaus, chouriças, homemade bread and chestnuts will be served at the Fundão Municipal Square, maintaining its appeal to the senses and to tradition, through valuing local gastronomy, traditions and handicrafts.
Medronho brandy, tea, coffee and hot wine will also form part of this journey and, since it is impossible to feel the heat of the fireplaces in the village of Açor, the authentic taste of the traditional and unique Maunça flavours will be provided to all those who come and visit. On the 6th, stalls are open from 3pm. On the 7th, you can indulge yourself between 10am and 6pm
This initiative is organised by the Municipality of Fundão and the Cultural and Recreational Association of the “Os Pastores do Açor” Folkloric Group.
