The Schist Walking Trail in “Villa Pampilhosa”, with a distance of 7.2 km, has an innovative route bringing together history, culture, tradition and leisure, passing through some of the most emblematic places of this town, among which: the Villa Pampilhosa Hotel, Monsenhor Nunes Pereira Building, River Beach, Main Church and Municipal Museum.
This is the 7th Schist Walking Trail of the Pampilhosa da Serra, which already has about 120 kilometres of approved footpaths. One more reason to add value to its brand “PAMPILHOSA DA SERRA INSPIRES NATURE“.
This event will also feature the representation of the "Lenda da Ponte da Covilhã", a legend that tells of the feud between the people of Covilhã and Pampilhosa da Serra, for the possession of this territory.

5pm - Inauguration of Schist Walking Trail PR7 - "Villa Pampilhosa, exit next to Pelourinho
5:30pm - Recreation of skirmish among the people of Pampilhosa da Serra
7pm - Celebration of victory in Santo António with convivial dinner accompanied by medieval music
