On 26th and 27th July, Benfeita will be celebrating the inauguration of Atelier Artefacto and the reopening of the Aldeias do Xisto shop. There will be two days with lots of activities, music and theatre, as well as workshops related to the creation of felt objects.

26 July - Saturday
11am - 12pm: Tasting in the village
3pm: Atelier Artefacto Inauguration
4pm: Tasting and toasting
Workshops and demonstrations: Felt balls; small objects in dry felt; creation of the Atelier Artefacto logo. Visit to the alpacas, experience with an ancient loom and spinning wheels
7pm: Barbecue
8pm: Live music from Benfeita bands
27 July - Sunday
10am: Workshop: felt carpet
11am: Live music

- Dancing on the carpet, to finish the piece

3pm: Making musical instruments with recyclable materials
"Tocar a Raiz" (precision), concert for and by children, with home-made musical instruments
6pm: Making and presentation of the Atelier Artefacto logo
3rd August - Sunday
All day: Carpet making workshop: felt; weaving; knitting; crochet; fabric painting; collage of used fabrics
5pm: The Aldeias do Xisto of Arganil Theatre Series
