Pinus Verde - Association for the Integrated Development of Forestry, based in Bogas de Cima, in the municipality of Fundão, is a non-profit entity that has been seeking, since 1998, to enhance local resources through processes fostering the active participation of the community - with people and their knowledge, local culture, the natural and man made heritage.

The Pinus Verde Association has been promoting a logic of self-sustainability applied to the development of the territory, mobilising resources such as the forest, local arts and traditions, the environment, rural/adventure tourism and fosters community and cultural animation, education and training, as well as the socio-economic development of the populations.
