During his adolescence amongst the mountain ranges, Paulo Tuna developed his passion for cutting implements, and it was during time that he made his first knife, which he still keeps to this day. Later, he took a course in Sculpture and Fine Arts and started to develop pieces from steel. In the middle of this creative process he experimented with blades that he gave or sold to friends who ordered custom-made pieces. Today, Paulo Tuna is a self-confessed aficionado of knives, their design, manufacturing process, history and the promotion of national production. It was precisely with the "Facas Lusas” (Lusa Knives) association that he joined Aldeias do Xisto in the Agricultura Lusitana project.
