Founded in 1994, Dueceira - Association for the Development of Ceira and Dueça aims to improve the quality of life for the populations of Lousã, Miranda do Corvo, Penela, and Vila Nova de Poiares.

Over the years, it has strived to build a positive, renewed, and appealing image of rural life. The association leverages the unique characteristics of the region as a means to strengthen local communities’ self-esteem, promote settlement, and enhance their value. Its overarching goal is to boost the region's competitiveness.

Dueceira is headquartered in Lousã and is open to the public from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
