Casas da Mina - Hostel has five 2-bedroom and one 1-bedroom fully equipped flats. The main house has four multiple bedrooms, with a capacity of 30 beds, a common room and a kitchen.

In total this hostel has 17 rooms and 55 beds. It has breakfast services, bar, cafeteria, daily maid service, room service, telephone, TV, wifi, minibar, air conditioning and parking. You can also rent mountain bikes or electric bikes. Pets are allowed in this hostel.

With a privileged location in the heart of the mining village of Cabeço do Pião, it offers visitors a unique view of industrial and residential archaeology in Portugal.

The hostel is surrounded by a unique landscape of mountains, valleys and the River Zêzere, where you can discover new experiences and practise adventure and nature sports, such as canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, rappelling, paintball, climbing, target shooting and rafting. You can also visit the Janeiro de Cima and Barroca Aldeias do Xisto, as well as the Palaeolithic rock paintings of Zêzere.
