This inauguration will begin at 8am with a mountain bike ride, in which the cyclists may choose between two of the courses linked to the Proença-a-Nova Mountain Bike Centre: the green one, consisting of 6.4 km, or the blue one, 18.7 km in length.

At 11am the official ceremony will take place, where the equipment and its features will be presented, as well as the associated trails. The Fróia MTB Centre is an infrastructure containing changing rooms, a bike point with bike washing and repair areas. It also provides an interactive area with access to information on the four mountain bike tracks in the municipality (including downloadable files for GPS devices). The courses have been duly certified by the Portuguese Cycling Federation.

The four courses of the Fróia MTB Centre, corresponding to four increasing levels of difficulty, all start from the centre and pass through some of the most interesting tourist points of the Proença-a-Nova municipality, such as the River Beach of Fróia or the Aldeia do Xisto of Figueira.
